Sure, complimenting personalities bring people together. It's always good to get along with your significant other or friends, so "birds of a feather flock together," as they say. But let's be honest. That doesn't make for good entertainment. Readers and viewers love a good odd couple, where the two are diametrically different. This can be in personality (good girls and bad boys), appearance (Beauty & the Beast, anyone?), species (ALIEN AND HUMAN LOVE IS REAL!!!1), and so on.

This meme is inspired by this concept and a certain song that probably shows your age if you recognize it. According to Wikipedia, "the lyrics are about a couple who love each other despite being different in just about every way possible." And...that pretty much summarizes the meme, too! (Though, it doesn't have to be love. Hate can be an option.)

HOW TO PLAY
- Comment with your character. In the subject, put info & preferences.
- In the comment, describe your character in a few key words. This is so that people who don't know your canon can see if your character would be a good opposite to theirs.

EX: Outspoken, strong-willed, funloving

- Reply to characters who are opposite (interpret that as you will) to yours.
- Enjoy the shippy antics!

Kiss of the Vampire

Vampires tend to have a lot of sex appeal. It may be because evil is sexy for some, but not all vampires are evil, so maybe it's because they're bad boys or sultry femme fatales. Maybe people just figure hundreds of years of practice at lovemaking makes vampires really, really good at it. On the other hand, the bloodsucking may be a great fetish source, something about a quick sting of pain followed by pleasure.

When a vampire is hungry and isn't quite so decent or hard up as to lower himself to only buying blood at the butcher's or trapping and draining small animals instead, their dietary supplement of preference is human blood. However, vampires can make the experience of being a drink box not just bearable, but pleasurable for the donor.

Good or bad?

Where does your character fall on the spectrum? More specifically, where does your character THINK they fall on the spectrum? After all, everyone thinks they're the hero of their own story.

We as viewers/readers might be able to clearly tell that this unrepentant murderer is the bad guy, but they might not think so. Maybe they think they're justified? On the flip-side, maybe your absolute, hard-working do-gooder still believes they're not doing good enough. It's all about perspective, and how characters view themselves.

Sexy University

This is a special college. Sure, it has the normal selection of classes like math, various sciences, theater, history, and all that, and you can take them if you REALLY want to, but they're not why people go here. They're not why the campus has a wall around it to keep out prying eyes, either.

THIS college is where you go if you want to be fucking incredible at fucking. Every aspect of sex and seduction can be trained up to their absolute limits, so that no one will ever find you wanting in the sack ever again. The medical services are top notch (no need to worry about pesky diseases or any other unintended consequences of sleeping around all the time), the dress code in non-existent, the professors are all the tops of their field, and the campus was designed with constant casual hook-ups in mind. This is one school where, when the teacher assigns a lot of homework, NO one complains.
